Family sessions are Sunday evenings and newborn sessions are Tuesday – Friday and start at 10.00am.

Newborn sessions go for up to 4 hours, and outdoors around an hour or so.

If you are planning on using a reward for your kids, please leave it until the end of the session. Once they get that lolly, that’s all they will think about from then on. I really need them to be focused on me during this time.

Once you submit your booking form, I shall email you information with links to some inspiration, but it depends on if you are doing a studio session or outdoor session.
The best way to start is to choose an outfit for one person (usually Mum) and work around that. This way you can pull colours and tones from it. Think about accessorising outdoors, even layers can work well too if it’s not so hot. Shoes are actually an important factor too, I generally advise against thongs as you never know when there might be a blowout or prickles!
I highly suggest avoiding large prints or logos on tops, as these can be outdated and distract. Jeans and a white t-shirt has had its day also, so try varying it with perhaps a buttoned shirt, different tone or textured/lace top instead.

Drinks (preferably water) and snacks are imperative. You don’t want hangry children in this time.
For Newborns sessions, you don’t really need anything else other than your nappy bag as all props and wraps are provided. I have an extensive range of headbands, bonnets and props in the studio. Dummies are always handy too!

Yes, absolutely! Sometimes you need to see them before you decide. Once your indoor session is complete, you will be able to view and choose you photos straight away. For an outdoor session we shall arrange a time to meet in my studio within the next few days.
Yes! I am offering short family films with outdoor sessions. These are generally 2-3 minute videos with music that are incorporated during your photo session. Contact me for further info.
